Although Andy Collier has performed some of the songs from this show once or twice in his canal and waterways song programme (see singing gigs elsewhere on this site) the show ‘Waterways Holiday’ has not got to its first draft stage with a performance but nevertheless it has much to commend it and for directors looking for a new show Its ideal!

It is set in modern times on the waterways with the show opening at the National Waterways Festival and two families decide to go on a hire boat. They meet an ex business man at one of the locks and their holiday changes as things happen to them

There are around eighteen songs including – Waterways Holiday’ ‘Time Has Come To Book The Boat’ - ‘On Seeing The Boats’ ‘I Was In A Bit Of A State.. Oh What A Nightmare!

Costumes are modern and simple.. Stage sets can be the same.
