"I took my seat at the new Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering and wondered how Andy would hold his large audience . I neednt have done so as he had a confident air about him as well as an amazingly sensitive voice getting huge atmosphere into his songs.  He has a particularly good way of singing the WW2 Noel Coward songs without trying to sound like Coward himself like some do .He accompanies himself on his keyboard and the nice thing is this.. You dont really notice the keyboard playing and yet he has arranged his own keyboard accompaniments to capture the atmosphere of the singing /piano duos of the second world war, Andy’s relaxed and informative introduction to each song was both informative and engaging."

“…. it hardly comes as a surprise to find Andy is getting busier and busier as more people recognise his informal performing ability.”

TI heard andy sing his 70's gig recently and he got lots of style into it and sang 'Streets of London ' just as well as the writer Ralph McTell did in the 70's   I know his main gig is his ww2 but i am looking forward to seeing what he does with the 60's songs!!

A Northants resident  asked Andy in November was he on TV at all?  Andy told him he wasnt and the man went on say that he should be on the telly as he definitely had 'it'!! He then thanked Andy profusely

At his first Xmas gig Andy was told by a resident that he loved his singing and especially his playing which he  described as a 'real gift'

Andy has been praised at all his xmas gigs  as the songs bring so many happy memories to the folk in the care homes he has been in for this gig
